Deposit Upon Arrival in Taiwan

• When the students check into the dormitory, a deposit of NT$2000 is collected from each student.
• When the students check out the dormitory, the key deposit of NT$1000 will be refunded if the student returns the dormitory key. A deposit of NT$500 will be refunded if the dormitory is properly cleaned. If the dormitory room is not restored to its original condition, deductions will be made accordingly.

Living Stipend

• For UPTP students in Taiwan, a monthly living stipend of NT$12,000 is provided, along with a transportation subsidy of NT$1,200. These funds are disbursed on a monthly basis.
• Due to new regulations implemented by NTUST, the living stipend is deposited into students' postal accounts before the 20th of each month.
• Additionally, the NT$1,000 residence permit application fee is refunded along with the following month’s living stipend.
